| Abstract: With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the education sector is undergoing significant changes. As a key area for cultivating technical and skilled talents, the role of teachers in higher vocational education is facing profound transformation demands. This article deeply explores the internal logic, practical challenges, and implementation ap-proachesof the role transformation of higher vocational teachers under the background of artiffcial intelligence. The research shows that Artiffcial intelligence technology, by changing the educational ecosystem, reconffguring teaching relationships and reshaping professional values, has enabled vocational college teachers to transform from traditional “knowledge transmitters” to multiple roles such as “learning guides”, “industry-education collaborators” and “innovation enablers”. However, this transfor-mationprocess is confronted with numerous challenges such as a lack of technological application capabilities, confusion over role identity, and increased ethical risks. It is necessary to promote the smooth role transformation of vocational college teachers through measures such as improving the teacher development system, establishing a human-machine collaboration mechanism, and strengthening ethical norms, so as to provide teacher support for the high-quality development of vocational education in the era of artiffcial intelligence. |
